- An ambition is a guiding star in our life. It inspires us to achieve noble ideas of life. It stimulates our energy, courage and enthusiasm.
“Ingenuity, plus courage, plus work, equals miracles.”
- Without an ambition, life becomes dull, drab and boring. Those who have no definite aim in their lives, cannot rise in life.
“A man without aim is like a rudderless ship in a stormy sea.”
- This one would like to be a poet that one would like to conquer Mount Everest. This one would like to be a great scientist that one would like to become a world renowned athlete. Alexander, it is well-known, wanted to conquer the whole world. Napoleon’s ambition was to be another caeser. Shylock’s to heard/to collect enormous heaps of wealth.
“Great ambition is the passion of a great leader.”
- There are a number of professions such as business, farming, poets, politicians, military-officers, services in army, lawyers and scientists etc. We can select any profession one of them.
“The mould of man’s fortune is in his own hand.”
- It is an uphill task for a young-man to decide his profession. Many desire to be a rich or to become a great businessman. Some people desire\dream of becoming readers, politicians, social reformers and military officers. Most of students desire\aspire to become doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists, poets and teachers.
“This one step----------choosing a goal and
Sticking to it-------------changes everything.”
- Every human being has been sent in this world with a purpose. God has different qualities of mind and body to the people to perform different duties of life. It is the first duty of every educated person to understand himself and to determine some aim of life for himself.
“Happy is the man whose profession is his hobby.”
- Everyone has his own dreams but the future profession must be selected keeping in view the taste and talent of the person.
- According to me, the food engineering\doctor profession is the best field and it’s my ideal. My aim in life is to become an\a Food Engineer\Doctor. I intend to be an\a food engineer\doctor after the completion of my education. The choice of this profession has been made after a great deal of thoughts. I like this profession heart and soul as it appeals to me and suits me well. Alhamdulillah, I am a brave and intelligent by nature. I have the ability to express myself impressively. At present, I am a student of intermediate and after my graduation, I shall appear as an\a Food Engineer\Doctor.
- I want to become an\a Food Engineer\Doctor in order to serve my country men especially those living in rural areas. The poor villagers in Pakistan cannot get medical aid, if they fall ill or meet some other accident. I want to set up a good hospital in a far off village. The best service of humanity is to provide relief to those who are in pain and distress. I would not charge any visiting fee. As far as possible poor patients free.
As it is well said:
“No one has ever become poor by giving.”
- I also like this profession because there is a great scope for intelligence and hard work in this field. New medicines and medical equipment are being invented day-by-day. A food engineer\doctor never retires from his profession like a government servant. I like this profession for another reason. It gives freedom and respect to a man which he cannot get in any other profession. Many food engineers\doctors resign after getting experience by working in the army or government hospital. An experienced engineer\doctor is more respectable than any officers or businessman.

- My father wanted to see me as a Lawyer. He had been talking of it since my childhood. But I did not like Lawyer Profession because it was not according to my taste and temperament. I wanted to become food engineer\doctor by profession in life. I put up my case with arguments. So, he allowed me to choose this good profession according to my will.
“Aim is as important for a man as destination for a ship.”
- I know that it is not child’s play to become an\a engineer\doctor. I have taken up pre-engineering\pre-medical subjects for my intermediate Examination. I am working hard day and night to achieve my aim. However, honesty and hard-working is the demand of every profession without which we cannot get success.
“Honesty, devotion, punctuality, and hard working are keys of success.”
- To work as an\a engineer\doctor in honest and efficient way will be my prime purpose of life.
- I pray to Allah to help me in the fulfillment of this noble aim of life so that I may be able to provide relief to those who are in pain and distress (Ameen).
